The School for Young Children depends on the generosity of its families, alumni, community and other friends in providing a quality education to the young children in our community. We coordinate with West Hartford’s School Readiness Council, giving financial support to children in the school readiness program, as well as providing scholarship support to other families experiencing economic hardships.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many employers will match contributions made by an employee (including spouses). To find out if your company offers a matching gift program, please check with your company’s Human Resource Office or contact the University of Saint Joseph Office of Institutional Advancement. The donor receives credit for both the original gift and the amount of the match.

Gifts of Appreciated Stock

If you donate securities, you may be able to eliminate capital gains tax and still earn a tax deduction. Please contact the University of Saint Joseph Office of Institutional Advancement if you have questions about how to complete the transaction.
