APPLICATION Current Families
Families are a very important aspect of School for Young Children programs.
The National Association for the Education of Young Children states that in order “to maximize the quality of a child’s experiences in a program, administrative and teaching staff need to develop on-going positive relationships with family members.” We embrace this concept.
The School for Young Children welcomes families in the classroom and values the resources that families have to offer. Teachers skillfully balance the child’s development of independence and the benefits of family involvement.
